Makers are where technology meets DIY. The Maker Movement is all about using technology to empower yourself to create your own things and the technology you want to exist. Through spaces like Maker13, Makers are creating everything from home decor to hardware to 3D printed toys to life-saving medical devices.
Kentuckiana’s product designers, inventors, hackers, and tinkerers are the future of our manufacturing industry, but making and selling a physical product is no easy feat. Join 1804, Maker13, and Elevate as we host our first Maker Day to give “Makerpreneurs” the insights, tips, resources, and peer connections they need to go from “Eureka!” to a growing business.
Join us for the first half of the day to learn more about branding, marketing, and protecting your intellectual property. Then, stay to connect with your fellow Makers and take Maker13’s equipment for a spin. In the evening, we’re hosting a Happy Hour and a fun workshop with our friends at Level Up. Finally, we’ll cap off the day with a fireside chat featuring Maker and entrepreneur extraordinaire Alli Truttmann, Founder/CEO of Wicked Sheets.
See below for the full day of programming. RSVP for the full day or for specific activities. Register today to join us and don’t forget to bring a friend!
